Key Leadership Responsibilities
* Develop the strategic and annual operations plan for the global product lines
* Design and implement brand strategies for DEPA and ELRO global products
* Act as a true business partner – understand complex financial considerations to ensure best business decisions are being executed
* Analyze competitive landscape, regional market economic and industry indicators
* Project and maintain a win/loss database for analysis and trend purposes
* Identify and research new product development ideas and opportunities
* Develop business cases for investment in new product development
* Lead a world‑class 7‑stage New Product Development Process and manage new product launches in respective regions
* Engage with customers as the key representative, listening to the customer voice and translating it into tangible, actionable deliverables
* Define and communicate product line pricing, lead time, reasonable order quantity and profitability
* Develop and execute manufacturing models to support business models and profitability targets
* Establish and develop current regional product sourcing strategy and product channel strategy
* Define sales target opportunities by application and geography, and support them with product and “how to win” sales tools
* Deliver sales targets in line with planned business commitments; drive both profit and sales growth
* Ensure training for internal and external employees and channels, empowering the wider team to deliver for customers with a world‑class toolkit
* Interface with sales leadership, channels and customers to determine annual sales plans, key account management support, and pursue projects and prospects
* Provide product application, technical and service support, assistance in contract review and quote generation, and guidance for major customer change orders
* Assist marketing initiatives – create brand/product communication plans, funnel leads, manage marketing budgets, leverage exhibitions, and develop brochures and technical documentation
* Set an inspirational vision for the wider business team and all direct reports, establishing clear stretch goals and driving high performance execution
* Drive continuous improvement – leverage the Crane Business System, remove waste, focus on value addition, and execute deliverables through a process‑driven approach
* Maintain a culture of ‘Play to Win’ – win for our customers and with our customers
Qualifications
* Director level experience in global business line management, product strategy, and new product development
* Strong analytical and financial decision‑making skills, with a proven ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders
* Proven track record of successfully launching new products, driving sales growth, and managing a global product portfolio and pricing strategy
* Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and regional market management, with a global perspective
* Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams, customers, and partners
* Results‑driven, entrepreneurial, and a relentless focus on continuous improvement and value creation
