This project investigates the problem of collaborative control of multiple AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) for transporting heavy goods. We begin with a theoretical analysis of the controller design, considering various disturbances and uncertainties in practice, such as communication delays and actuator dynamics. The designed controller will then be validated on real-world mobile robots. Your defining qualities You are an enrolled master's student in electrical engineering, cybernetics, mechanical engineering, or a related field. You have in-depth knowledge of systems theory, nonlinear control, and robotics. Solid programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C/C++ are a plus. Practical experience in advanced control design and implementation on real hardware is a big advantage. Fluent German or English skills are desirable.
