Head of Technical Procurement (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
* Ensuring efficient procurement processes
* Implementation of the procurement processes in coordination with the parties involved in the process and in compliance with the relevant specifications of the company management
* Running commercial tenders - obtaining, analyzing and negotiating offers as well as commercial review and awarding of contracts
* Technical examination of offers for implementation possibilities in coordination with the specialist department
* Independent contract negotiation, management and conclusion
* Complaint handling (claim management)
* Supplier selection and development of effective supplier relationships as well as monitoring of supplier audits
* Identification and implementation of measures to reduce the so-called Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
* Realization of cost savings
Qualifications:
* Degree in Economics or Engineering
* Technical understanding and interest in a maritime working environment
* Structured, independent working style and organizational skills
* Reliability and assertiveness
* Thinking in economic and overall business contexts/conceptual skills
* Very good written and spoken English language skills (business fluent)
* German, Swedish or Polish is an advantage but not a prerequisite
* Ability to grasp things quickly, enjoys communication, team player
* Willingness to travel
