About the Client

For one of our clients, a renowned financial institution based in Luxembourg City , we are seeking a dedicated Operational Assistant specialized in financial messaging. Joining the Finance Directorate, you will work in a rigorous, multicultural, and highly strategic environment where your contribution directly impacts global operations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the department head, you will ensure the accuracy, continuity, and compliance of financial operations. Your role focuses on four main pillars:

SWIFT Messaging Management: Handle and process financial messages across multiple types, ensuring mastery of both MT and MX formats.

Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and distribute regular reports to internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational transparency.

Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal operational teams, SWIFT Alliance support, and external counterparties to resolve queries and ensure seamless processing.

Claims & Fees Processing: Accurately process financial claims and fees within strict agreed timelines.

Your Profile

Technical Expertise: You have at least 5 years of experience in an operational role within financial services, specifically in cash and securities management.

Specialized Knowledge: You possess an in-depth understanding of SWIFT Alliance infrastructure and ISO 20022 standards .

Languages: You are fluent in English with strong business communication skills (written and spoken).

Soft Skills: You demonstrate high accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information. You thrive under tight deadlines and value collaborative, agile teamwork.

Education: A secondary level diploma complemented by a 2-year certification in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent professional experience).
