The »AI-supported simulation« team combines physics-based simulation approaches with efficient and advanced mathematical algorithms and AI frameworks for modeling and optimizing power electronic components and systems.
To support our team, we are looking for a working student (all genders) in the field of machine learning for engineering applications to start as soon as possible.
Be part of change
* Developing and benchmarking Neural Network architectures (Graph Neural Networks, Transformers, etc.) for engineering applications
* Designing Reinforcement Learning pipelines (environment and algorithm) for power electronics applications
* Improving existing Machine Learning and Reinforcement Learning workflows (speed, hyperparameter tuning, usability)
What you contribute
* Student in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or another related degree program with a scientific or engineering focus
* Experienced with Python/Pytorch/Tensorflow
* Familiarized with Machine Learning
* Familiarized with Reinforcement Learning (preferable, not mandatory)

The position is initially limited to one year. Your weekly working hours will be agreed upon by mutual agreement. You can set your working days flexibly.
