EMEA Trade Compliance Projects Manager (m/f/*)
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Trade Compliance Projects Manager for the EMEA region, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Manage complex Trade Compliance projects to minimize risk, enhance service, and optimize cost savings.
2. Report to the EMEA Trade Compliance Manager and collaborate with EMEA & Global Trade Compliance teams.
3. Represent Trade Compliance in cross-functional projects and act as the EMEA TC Ambassador.
4. Lead EMEA initiatives to define and communicate compliance KPIs, dashboards, and training materials in alignment with Global TC.
5. Assess compliance, identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive improvements through process optimization.
6. Monitor regulatory changes, assess impacts, and implement necessary actions across the corporation.
7. Conduct continuous due diligence and identify opportunities for improvement.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
8. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
9. Relevant leadership experience in Trade Compliance.
10. Strong knowledge of EU trade regulations across EMEA countries.
11. Proven ability to navigate large, complex, multinational organizations.
12. Experience managing audits, handling customs and export control licenses, and adapting to new Trade Compliance regulations.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include
13. Experience with SAP GTS and complex business models.
14. Strong process-oriented and structured project management skills.
15. Lean Six Sigma experience.
16. Excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.
17. Comfortable interacting with government officials and leadership.

18. Location - EMEA responsible role with flexible location at either of the following 3M locations -
- Germany - Neuss/Juchen
- UK - Rugby
- Poland - Wroclaw
- France - Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine
19. Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days per week at a 3M office in either
20. Travel expectations: May include up to 10%
