About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead our Division (Trading Central Europe,based in Germany/ Weissenthurm) for the main markets Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this position, you will be responsible for driving volume, revenue, value contribution, and market share growth across all products while ensuring cost efficiency through smart spending and productivity improvements.
You will take full ownership of national deliverables and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization. This includes developing and implementing business strategies, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence.
In addition to your role as General Manager Trading, you will also act as Managing Director for Trading Germany, representing the company at the highest level and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
The role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to build and maintain high-level relationships. Please note that this position involves approximately 50% travel, as you will engage with stakeholders, customers, and teams across different locations to ensure alignment and success.
Key responsibilities:

9. Promote a strong organizational culture
10. Manage the organizational scorecard and continuous improvement initiatives
11. Implement system and organizational enhancements
Requirements:
12. University degree in Economics or a comparable field
13. Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
14. Strong background in Sales, ideally complemented by experience in Marketing or Finance
15. Professional experience across multiple business functions and countries
16. Visionary leadership with excellent communication skills
17. Proven ability to collaborate and manage relationships across functions
18. Strong presentation and negotiation skills
19. Highly motivated, results-driven, and willing to go the extra mile
20. In-depth knowledge of local market trends, language, and culture
21. Ability to engage credibly with external customers
22. Solid planning and organizational skills, including time management and priority setting
