About The Role This role will work with our clients and internal teams to assess, define and implement client business and functional requirements. Additionally, this role will support wider teams in areas such as QA (planning and execution) and Sales (bids and solutioning). About The Team The Design and Architecture Team sits within the Client Delivery organisation and is responsible for architecting and designing technical solutions. The team is involved in solutioning client customisations and enhancements, client implementations, system‑specific projects, and technology integration and infrastructure environment build‑out. An important aspect of the team’s work is supporting pre‑sales initiatives and providing input to prospect RFI and RFPs. What You Will Be Doing Use expertise in specific business processes to provide technical guidance to clients and FIS teams concerning the business implications of applications of various systems. Work on technology business consulting activities to meet specific client requirements. Serve as liaison between end‑users and consultants during consulting projects. Create detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Support QA teams in writing test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet client needs and application integrity is maintained. Support testing such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests, ensuring client needs will be met. Support Sales and Sales Solutioning by providing input into prospect sales bids, RFPs and, when requested, presenting to clients as part of a bid team. Work at client sites from time to time requiring some travel. What You Bring Previous experience working with core banking platforms and in a Business Analyst / Consultant role at a senior level. Detailed knowledge of some or all of the following products in the German market: loans, savings and SEPA/payments processing. Deep knowledge of the German banking industry. Experience working in a technology or financial services organization and preferably having worked in a vendor/client capacity. Fluent command of written and spoken English and German.
