Your Tasks
* Lead the development of corporate strategy in close collaboration with CEO, Executive Committee and VP Strategy
* Drive strategic initiatives across the retail value chain
* Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor moves to inform strategic choices
* Collaborate with business units and functions on key cross-cutting topics (e.g., data-driven retail, subscriptions, platform models)
* Support the annual strategic planning process and prepare executive-level presentations for the Board and Executive Committee
* Evaluate potential new growth fields, partnerships, and M&A opportunities
* Track progress against strategic goals and support governance of key initiatives
* Foster the international community of country strategy leads
* Cover corporate requirements for the strategy department, supporting e.g. annual report, annual shareholder meeting and risk
Your Profile
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Business, Economics, or related field; MBA is a plus
* Several years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy in retail or consumer-facing industries
* Strong understanding of retail dynamics, customer behavior, and digital disruption
* Hands-on experience with business case modeling and strategic frameworks
* Skilled in preparing clear, compelling executive presentations
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI or analytics tools is a plus
* Fluency in English; German is a plus
