Important: This is a relocation role targeted at candidates currently residing outside Germany, preferably within the EU, as we do not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Germany and possess at least B1+ level German language skills.
What to expect
* Your focus: The operation and expansion of the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) infrastructure, including the monitoring of specific applications and the development of customized dashboards and alerts.
* Your task: Coordinate activities in the service lifecycle process and be responsible for process activities related to Windows Server and Microsoft SCOM.
* Your challenge: The implementation and monitoring of IT specifications as well as the active participation in plan and IT management processes in a dynamic IT environment.
* You will design: Technical consulting and project work by formulating specifications for the design and modification of IT services, with a special focus on data quality and performance optimization.
* They contribute: To ensuring the dimensioning of the required resources and create the technical and organizational prerequisites for the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.
* You support: The operating model by conducting cost-benefit analyses to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services.
* Your contribution to quality assurance: By developing and implementing monitoring strategies and alerts that ensure proactive monitoring of system performance and availability.
* As part of projects: Take responsibility for the continuous improvement of the SCOM infrastructure and the integration of new technologies to meet the changing needs of the bank.
What you bring to the table
* You have a university degree (Bachelor's degree) in the field of IT and telecommunications or banking as well as several years of relevant professional experience that you can contribute to this position.
* Your experience in the development and operation of Windows infrastructures in the enterprise environment, especially in the areas of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Windows Server Lifecycle Management, is of great importance. Knowledge of performance analysis, high availability and disaster recovery is also desirable.
* Advanced knowledge of PowerShell is desirable, as well as basic knowledge of IT strategy, process design, and ITIL v4.
* You are characterized by a strong ability to persuade and conflict management skills. In addition, you have strong analytical skills, networked and strategic thinking, decision-making skills, organizational skills and communication skills.
* You communicate confidently in writing and orally in our business language German. A good knowledge of English complements your profile.
