Compliance Manager Role Overview
As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in daily AML/KYC operations. This includes overseeing the review, approval, and supervision of client due diligence files to ensure compliance with local and European standards.
* Lead a team of compliance experts: Mentor and guide your team toward excellence, shape the compliance culture, and strengthen leadership skills while benefiting from trust and recognition.
* Ensure regulatory compliance: Develop and implement processes to guarantee adherence to regulations, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and approving complex client files, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
* Mentoring junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
* Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including legal teams and management, to provide expert advice on compliance matters.
Requirements
* University degree in Law or related field.
* Prior experience (at least 3 years) in managing a team, with strong leadership and people development skills.
* In-depth knowledge of AML/KYC frameworks in Luxembourg, ideally within an international environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Fluency in English; knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is considered an advantage.
