Linux Embedded Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Linux Embedded Systems Specialist to join our Embedded PC Product Management team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting and marketing the new Linux operating system on embedded PCs and industrial PCs (IPCs). This will involve acting as an internal and external contact for key areas of responsibility.

Job Responsibilities
* Contact person for service, support, sales and international product specialists for questions relating to embedded operating systems with a focus on Linux
* Testing and release of individual TwinCAT and system components for Linux on various platforms
* Creation of customer-specific Linux operating system configurations
* Support with the configuration of operating systems
Requirements
* Succesfully completed training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification
* Experience in the system administration of Linux systems
* Experience in the use of container technologies (including Docker)
* Extensive knowledge of network technology and administration
* Knowledge of automation technology and our TwinCAT automation software is desirable
* Confident demeanor paired with strong communication skills as well as customer and service orientation, even in stressful situations
* Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
