Software Development Expert for Mission Support Systems
A highly skilled software development professional is sought to join a dynamic team within Airbus Defence and Space. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software solutions based on customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in developing and maintaining client-side logic and APIs. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of an agile team.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and test software throughout the development lifecycle based on customer requirements
* Ensure compliance with rules and regulations resulting from software and aircraft development standards applicable to our project
* Develop and maintain client-side logic and APIs to ensure seamless data processing and integration within the Mission Support Systems
* Ensure feasibility, reusability, maintainability, safety, performance, and security in software and interface design
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* University degree (Master or Bachelor) in computer science or equivalent qualification
* Minimum of 3-5 years hands-on experience as developer in TypeScript (preferably in aeronautics or defence sector)
* Good overview of current technologies in the Web-Frontend eco-system and experience in single page applications
* Mastery of source code management systems as well as UML, OO design and design patterns
* Highly motivated to continuously engage with new software technologies and improve software development processes
* Strong team player, able to work self-organised with an ambition for high quality
* English at negotiation level, German is a plus
