Research Opportunities in Neurodegenerative Disease Modeling
The LCSB is a renowned interdisciplinary research centre that conducts fundamental and translational research in systems biology and biomedicine.
Our team focuses on neurodegenerative processes, particularly Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, and their contributing factors.
We utilize human stem cells for in vitro modeling of neurodegeneration disease, with a focus on developing novel, complex in vitro organoid and assembloid models for the human brain.
In this project, we are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to study the role of aged microglia in Parkinson's Disease.
A successful candidate will be expected to lead and manage this demanding project, requiring strong background in human stem cell research, proven experience in high content imaging, multi electrode array technology, or reprogramming of somatic cells into pluripotency.
Leadership skills and ability to take responsibility are essential qualities for this position.
We offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
