Job Title: Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer As a senior mechanical piping engineer, you will play a key role in the development and creation of technical documents such as specifications, pipe class determinations, plant layouts, 3D models, parts lists, and tender packages. You will be responsible for supervising the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects to ensure they meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements. Working closely with cross-disciplinary teams, you will drive innovation, improve technical processes, and lead projects to success. As a point of contact for authorities, operators, and other stakeholders, you will ensure effective communication and relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and create technical documents including specifications, pipe class determinations, and plant layouts. Supervise the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. Drive innovation and improve technical processes through collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams. Ensure effective communication and relationship management with authorities, operators, and other stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field. At least 8 years of professional experience in pipeline systems engineering, preferably in high-pressure applications in the energy or oil & gas industry. Specific knowledge and experience in pipeline transport of natural gas, hydrogen, ammonia, and carbon dioxide is an advantage. Good knowledge of international regulations on high-pressure pipeline technology. Proven experience in engineering and engineering management with a track record across various project phases (from feasibility to commissioning). Very good written and spoken English, min. C1. Leadership qualities, particularly the ability to abstract complex technical issues to present them convincingly. Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, combined with a willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
