At the Heidelberg Marriott Hotel, as an Accounting / Finance Supervisor, you are a key part of our Finance team and actively contribute to shaping efficient, transparent, and future-oriented financial processes. Together, we create the foundation for sustainable decisions and exceptional guest experiences.
Your role – more responsibility, more overview
8. Take responsibility for selected areas within accounting and ensure smooth daily operations
9. Provide technical support to the team and actively contribute to the development and improvement of processes
10. Independently review, assign and post more complex financial transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger)
11. Play a key role in the preparation of daily, monthly, and annual financial statements and take ownership of specific areas
12. Perform account reconciliations, analyze variances, and maintain a clear overview of outstanding items
13. Support payment processes and ensure structured and efficient cash management procedures
14. Actively contribute to process optimizations and continuous improvements
15. Work closely with other departments and act as an important interface within the hotel
16. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, legal requirements, and Marriott standards
Be able.
17. Completed commercial training (Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, or similar)
18. Initial experience in accounting or finance
19. Affinity for numbers and a structured, detail-oriented working style
20. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
21. Good command of German and English
22. Team spirit, reliability, and a strong willingness to grow professionally
