We are seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Plant Controller to oversee the financial operations of our $250 million revenue manufacturing facility.
The Automotive Plant Controller will be responsible for the overall financial management of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control. Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Lead the preparation and review of the plant’s financial statements for external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Operational Support & Decision-Making:
Partner with plant leadership to provide financial insights that support operational decisions, including product costing, capacity utilization, and investment decisions.
Advise on financial implications of new projects, capital expenditures, and process improvements.
Lead and develop the plant finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in plant or manufacturing finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience managing financial operations for a plant with annual revenues of $150 million or more, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial modeling, and budgeting in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and other financial regulations.
