We are building a B2B software product in the workforce and business operations space and are looking for a committed technical co-founder or early core team member based in Germany.
This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape the product, technology, and long term direction of the company from the ground up.
Role Overview
You will work closely on both the technical and product side, contributing directly to building the first production-ready version of the platform. This is a hands‑on role for someone who wants to take ownership and be part of early strategic decisions.
* Web Frontend: React.js
* Database and APIs: modern scalable architecture experience is a plus
What We Are Looking For
* Strong hands‑on experience in Java and Spring Boot
* Good experience with React.js
* Experience with React Native
* Understanding of scalable backend systems, APIs, authentication, and database design
* Comfortable working in an early stage startup environment
* Ability to take ownership and build from scratch
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is motivated to build a real company together and can contribute actively during the EXIST program. The ideal co‑founder brings:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
* Based in Germany or able to work on‑site in Germany
* German language skills are required
* Strong interest in startups, product development, and long‑term growth
* Experience with SaaS, HR systems, ERP, or workflow platforms is a plus
What You Will Do
* Build the first core version of the platform with the founding team
* Design and implement backend architecture in Spring Boot
* Contribute to frontend and mobile application development
* Help define product structure, technical roadmap, and implementation priorities
* Work closely on turning early concepts into a scalable product
