HR Operations Manager Düsseldorf, Germany
We are supporting a multinational Equipment Manufacturer (Food & Beverage market) in their search for a proactive, hands-on HR Operations Manager to lead HR delivery and ensure seamless operations for their German business.
About the Role
This is a broad and impactful position where you’ll be the go-to HR expert on the ground. You’ll combine strategic oversight with day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring smooth HR operations, full legal compliance, and a positive employee experience in a dynamic international environment.
You’ll manage the complete employee lifecycle, lead talent acquisition and onboarding, oversee payroll coordination, and drive continuous improvement across all HR processes. You’ll also take responsibility for pension administration (both legacy Defined Benefit and new Defined Contribution schemes), office operations, and local compliance matters.

End-to-end HR operations and employee relations
Workday management and accurate people data
German statutory compliance, social security, and occupational health & safety
Talent attraction, onboarding, and contracts
Benefits, pension, and reward processes
Local policies, communications, and site events
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years’ HR Operations experience in Germany
Strong knowledge of German employment law, payroll, and statutory requirements
Fluent in German and English
Proactive, organised, and comfortable taking real ownership
