Visit our website to learn more: www.kinectrics.com Tendering Engineer The Tendering Engineer will be responsible for the following: Be the lead on new opportunities for the High Voltage Testing and Asset Management Consultancy of projects ranging from 15K EUR to 2M EUR. Review and understand tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings and commercial terms. Work in conjunction with our Kinectrics Global services and suppliers to provide the optimum tender on time and within our clients budget. Evaluate value engineering or cost saving opportunities. Identify risks, opportunities and key differentiators in the bid process. Understand the commercial fundamentals of a project. Work with the engineering, project and commercial teams in order to prepare tender documents and appropriate value propositions to clients. Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and sub-consultants on technical and commercial issues in preparation of an offering for a client. Actively engage with the supply chain in order to establish the most cost effective and innovate solutions in order to offer to the client, including reviewing offerings from suppliers to ensure technical compliance. Attend and lead tender handover meetings. Manage the interface with the client during the tender and post-tender stage, including the clarification process. Compilation and assessment of technical submittals and the tender return. Work closely with the Tendering Engineer UK on the commercial proposals and the European Sales team. Ensure the correct application and compliance with relevant business procedures including Health and Safety; highlighting any non-compliance observed. Required to support the planning, advertising and organization of events and attend events/conferences where necessary. Person Specification The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Demonstrable competence gained in tendering, estimation, or proposal management within an engineering or construction company. Fluent in German. Electrical Engineering Degree or suitable relevant experience in the industry. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool is desirable but not essential. Professional acumen. Strong IT skills. Experience at managing several tenders covering multiple disciplines at once. A strong communicator with excellent verbal and writing proficiency.
