Senior Procurement Manager (all genders) - Offshore Wind Industry
Your future tasks:
* Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive procurement strategies that align with our organizational goals and the specific needs of our departments
* Assess procurement needs, gather internal requirements & specifications to prepare and produce tender documents, identify appropriate suppliers
* Run tenders, including negotiations, coordinating with relevant expert functions (legal, customs, insurance, tax, etc.) as appropriate to ensure adequate input and reviews
* Manage finalization of contracts and obtain all relevant internal approvals and signatures
* Monitor contracts and provide contract management
* Resolve any queries or issues related to the contracts (internally: e.g. towards controlling, accounting, management; externally: towards suppliers)
* Provide any required reporting
* Support with the roll out of new Global Procurement activities
* Ensure Safety and Sustainability are a key part of the procurement process, supporting several initiatives we have in this regard
* Conduct thorough market research and spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and risk mitigations.
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and vendors
* Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators to manage and evaluate supplier performance
* Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, as well as Skyborns corporate governance structure
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the procurement team
Your profile:
* Degree in Business Management, Procurement & Supply Chain and/or relevant work experience.
* You have a min. 8-10 years' of progressive experience in a strategic procurement or sourcing role
* You are structured in your approach, curious and willing to develop further in your career, you are a fast learner and able to adapt quickly
* Proven track record of successfully managing procurement projects for diverse business units and spend categories
* You are comfortable to work in a dynamic and demanding environment, able to meet tight deadlines and produce concise information
* You have a mindset of a service provider and sparring partner to the organization
* Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
* High ethical standards and commitment to transparency and integrity
* Your verbal and written English is fluent and you are proficient in Microsoft office tools. SAP experience is a strong plus.
* Experience in the offshore wind industry is a strongly preferred
