We are currently seeking for our Headquarter in Hamburg a highly motivated and dedicated
VP Group Consolidation and Reporting (all genders)
Full-time and permanent
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead the Group Consolidation and Reporting team (three direct reports)
2. Preparation of consolidated financial statements of Evotec Group (listed on Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Nasdaq)
3. Preparation of quarterly and yearly external reporting in accordance with IFRS incl. i.e. IFRS Notes disclosures and Management Discussion & Analysis, as well as coordination of related process
4. Responsibility for compliance with capital market regulations in Germany and in the US for financial reports
5. Support and professional management of the subsidiaries of Evotec SE in matters relevant to the consolidated financial statements
6. Take responsibility for specific projects, e.g. implementation of new standards and regulations according to IFRS or further development of consolidation tool
7. Support in M&A transactions and post-merger integration
8. Main contact for the auditors
Required Qualifications:
9. Leadership experience in the Group Accounting department of an internationally operating company (preferably in a Listed Company)
10. Successful university degree (or equivalent) in business administration, advanced studies in international accounting, group accounting or auditing
11. Experience in an Audit firm would be a plus
12. Broad understanding of consolidation and financial statement closing processes
13. Excellent knowledge of consolidation systems, preferably OneStream
14. In depth knowledge of IFRS
15. Ability to interact with various stakeholders, breakdown complex accounting issues, explain and present them to management
16. International, intercultural open mindset
17. Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop the team
18. Strong communication skills
19. Fluent in written and spoken German and English
