Overview
Director PMO & Digitalization role focused on leading PMO operations for R&D Enteral Nutrition, driving portfolio management, data integrity, tool development, and digitalization initiatives to enable project management excellence.
Responsibilities
* Lead PMO business partner for project management at R&D Enteral Nutrition
* Support project portfolio management in compiling and analyzing performance data, including KPIs, financials, deviations, and roadblocks
* Update data consistently across all project management information systems to support real-time reporting and operational decision-making
* Co-develop and improve tools, templates, and training (materials)
* Develop, maintain, and roll out PMO frameworks and processes to enable continuous organizational development toward project management excellence
* Proactively partner with Finance and project (portfolio) managers to prepare FC/BUD preparation and presentations to senior management
* Focal point for project managers in the effective use of project management information systems, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient collaboration
* Harmonize, standardize, and maintain master data and project plans to ensure consistency and data integrity across the portfolio
* Lead the optimization and continuous improvement of project and portfolio management tools
* Design and maintain KPI dashboards to provide stakeholders with real-time insights
* Monitor emerging digital trends and technologies (e.g., AI) to identify and implement digital solutions for continuous improvement
* Lead change management initiatives to embed digital project and portfolio management practices across the organization
* Spearhead the smooth adoption and effective utilization of new digital tools and technologies
Your Profile
* You have a Master’s degree in science, pharmacy, medicine, engineering, or (health) economics; MBA or Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory
* You bring a minimum of 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in project management or PMO
* You have knowledge of regulatory, CMC, and (pre-)clinical requirements in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, combination products, or FSMP/food is appreciated
* You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional and multi-regional teams to deliver strategic initiatives
* Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMI-PMP) or PMO (PMI-PMOCPTM) are preferred
* You have proficiency in MS Office 365, MS Project, Planisware, MS Visio, and SharePoint
* You have strong skills in data visualization (e.g., Power BI), development (e.g., Power Apps), and AI tools
* You bring strong interpersonal skills for a highly matrixed organization with an outcome-focused mindset and hands-on leadership
* You are fluent in English; proficiency in German or Chinese is considered an asset
