Your roleResponsible for establishing and independently running Beyond Technology Field SynBio Department with the target to create the ZEISS capabilities for all segments or the basis for a new SBU.Accountable for results and reports into Innovation Board (CEO, HoCRT, SBUs) Represent SynBio internal and external for ZEISS. Relationship Management with German and European authorities.Design, establishment, and implementation of required organizational and operational backbone of Beyond Technology Field Synthetic BiologyAccountable for results and reports into Innovation Board (CEO, HoCRT, SBUs)Independent and continuous evaluation of all ongoing Beyond Technology SynBio Field activities in terms of budget, timing, and impact internal and external viewIdentifying and evaluating new potential business opportunities leading to proposals for new Beyond Market Fieldsindependent orchestration and coordination of stakeholders within innovation ecosystem especially with Senior Expert Team and Leadership Team with regards to Beyond Technology FieldsCoordination of multiple strategic projects for identifying and detailing potential Beyond Market Fields Independent preparation and presentation of decision material (e.g., presentations) for large investment and business projects for the Venture Board, Executive Board as well as if needed the Su-pervisory BoardYour profileA degree with excellent grades in natural science, life science, engineering, or economics - PhD or MBA as a plusLong-term of professional experience overall in innovation or technology driven global companies or biological/pharma driven companySeveral years experience in leading innovation teams and steering complex projects as a project managerModern leadership experienceExperience with startups or venture activities and a entrepreneurial mindsetOutstanding analytical competence and outside the box thinkingExperience in lateral leadership in medium and large project settingsStrategic & exploratory mindset and capabilitiesYour ZEISS Recruiting TeamKatharina Dandorfer
