Job Description
About Your Tasks:
* Post and reconcile daily bank and payment transactions in our financial systems
* Monitor incoming and outgoing payments across various payment methods
* Identify, investigate, and flag discrepancies or settlement differences
* Support the resolution of payment-related issues in collaboration with senior team members
* Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all payment processes
* Prepare regular reports on payment volumes, performance, and status
* Act as a first point of contact for internal payment-related inquiries
* Support testing and implementation of new payment methods and system improvements
Qualifications
About you:
* Completed commercial training (e.g. kaufmännische Ausbildung) or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
* First practical experience in Accounting, Finance, Treasury, or Payment Operations (e.g. internship or working student role) is a plus
* Basic understanding of accounting principles
* Strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of working
* Comfortable working with Excel and financial systems
* Hands-on mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
* Fluent in German and confident in basic English
