Your responsibilities
As an intern in the Corporate Strategy department of Uniper, you will gain first-hand experience in shaping the future of energy markets.
Your main tasks will include:
1. Supporting analyses of current and future energy market trends with a focus on transformative growth areas (e.g. Hydrogen, flexibility, renewables)
2. Assisting in the preparation of business cases and asset portfolio transformation ideas
3. Supporting on strategic projects shaping the transformation of Uniper
4. Helping to prepare presentations and communication material for internal stakeholders and management
5. Work closely with colleagues across the company and gain insight into different business functions
6. Support in the coordination of project activities and stakeholder workshops
7. Assist in aligning project assumptions and preparing summaries of results for various reporting lines
8. Potentially working on strategic transactions / partnerships for Uniper's asset business
Your profile
9. You are currently enrolled in a university program (engineering, economics, finance, social or natural sciences or a related field, energy-related studies preferred)
10. 3-6 months of full-time availability for the internship
11. Strong interest in the energy industry and transformation topics (e.g. Hydrogen, flexibility, renewables)
12. Initial experience (through university projects, internships, or student jobs) in energy, business, or policy-related topics is an advantage
13. Analytical mindset with enthusiasm to learn and contribute
14. Good communication skills, both written and spoken
15. Very good English skills; knowledge of another European language (e.g. German) is a plus
16. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
17. Proficiency in Python is a plus
18. M&A experience is a plus
