Role Overview

We’re looking for a Director of Product to lead one of our most critical product pillars. This person will be responsible for shaping and executing a strategy that drives deep multi-product penetration across our customer’s employee base - through unified, AI-enhanced, and scalable experiences.
This is a leadership role for someone who knows how to set a bold direction but also gets into the details when needed. Someone who can grow a team, lead through influence, and create the structure and momentum that help product managers thrive.
Responsibilities
* Drive adoption + depth | Create product experiences that increase penetration across the employee base and encourage multi-product usage.
* Lead the charge | Build a product vision and strategy for your area, ensuring alignment with Benifex goals and an exceptional customer experience
* Develop a team | Build and coach a product team to obsess over customers, innovate, move quickly and ultimately enjoy their work
* Unify the experience | Champion a seamless, integrated experience across our product suite, balancing usability, performance, and scalability.
* Communicate effectively | Get people inspired by the product vision and share the right context with the right people at the right time
* Embed AI thinking | Identify and deliver opportunities where AI and automation can add real, differentiated value to users.
What are we looking for?
Experience
* Experience working in best in class product organisations, either companies that have reached scale (Google, Booking.com, Uber, Deliveroo, JustEAT) or high growth startups.
* Experience in building out a global suite of products, responsible for the product strategy and taking products from 1 to 10
* Extensive experience in global product management in the B2B SaaS sector (leading multiple products across multiple markets/regions)
* Demonstrated ability in building and leading high-calibre product organizations (leading 5+ squads/product managers)
* Experience embedding AI across products and building AI enhanced features
Skills
* Building a multi-market product, with a proven ability to balance priorities across geographies
* You have good judgement, and you’re able to make good decisions in complex situations where there’s often no “right answer”
* Obsesses over engagement, retention, and long-term value creation - not output. Comfortable defining and owning KPIs across multiple squads.
* You’re a great storyteller, who can motivate, energise and inspire people towards a common goal
* You can get hands-on, when necessary, to fill gaps - in people or experience - and set a practical example for what great looks like
* Build a product vision and strategy for your area, ensuring alignment with Benifex’s goals and exceptional customer experience
* Build and coach product team to obsess over customers, innovate, move quickly and ultimately enjoy their work

* Benifex understands the need to have a fast and efficient process, the below will all be completed in the shortest time possible.
* Initial informal call with the Talent team
* 60 minute session with our CTO and Product Director
* 45 minute interview with VP of Engineering
* Final interview with Board member
