TheHardwareEngineeris responsiblefor supportingbothsustaining ofreleased products and development ofnew designsand products.
This positionreports to theManagerHardware Engineeringandis part of theEngineering TeamlocatedinAachenand willbeanon-siterole.
This position is initially offered on a one-year fixed-term contract (with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Work hands-onproduct design, development, and verification tasks related tohardware, andmicroplate consumablesfor our cell health products.
* Develop new consumables for our biotechnology market andoptimizeprocesses for production.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with product management,scienceand manufacturing team.
* Developconstructive solutions and creation of CAD drawings suitable formanufacturing.
* Executefeasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* M.S./B.S.with backgroundinMedicalEngineering,Processengineeringor similar engineering field.
* ProficientinCAD, preferably SolidWorksand Enovia including design and documentation.
* Good knowledge Englishand German, both written and spoken.
* Structured, independent work,high levelof practical judgment, reliability, organizational talent and enjoy working in a team.
It would be a plus if you alsopossesspreviousexperience in:
* Experience with Microfluidics
* Experience in bio-process engineeringor biotechnology
* Experience with optical sensors
