Overview
DACH (Frankfurt) - Mid-cap M&A - Vice President - Investment Banking (all genders)
As a Vice President on the DACH M&A team, you will partner with colleagues in industry and product teams to originate and execute the full spectrum of corporate finance transactions including public takeovers, private buy-side and sell-side transactions and corporate carve-outs.
Job responsibilities
* Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deals
* Review and coordinate the analytic work of junior bankers to advance the marketing/execution process
* Train junior bankers to enhance their skills and performance
* Refine marketing and execution materials for maximum client impact
* Oversee the creation of financial projection models
* Identify and manage all risks in a given deal
* Liaise with other internal and external parties on transactions (e.g., lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
* Lead client negotiations, Q&A processes, and management interviews
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
* Fluency in German
* Relevant M&A Investment Banking experience and knowledge of German market
* Outstanding financial analysis and modelling skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
* Solid communication and project management skills
* In-depth understanding of investment banking products
* Experience dealing with clients and other transactional
* Proficient in MS Office applications and experience of Bloomberg and Factset
