Your tasks
- Independent new and further development as well as establishment and validation of innovative methods for quantitative and qualitative analysis of AAV vectors and plasmids within the framework of general guidelines
- Independent literature research
- Independent performance of experiments and professional documentation
- within the framework of general guidelines, independent routine performance of analytical methods such as LC, CE, PCR, ELISA and methods for the characterization of plasmids and gene therapies based on viral vectors under own responsibility
- Independent planning of the experimental design and independent evaluation of the measurement results
- Interpretation of the results in consultation with the group leader
- Independent preparation of standard documents within the framework of general guidelines
- Document review in consultation with the group leader
- Independent calibration, maintenance and cleaning of equipment within the framework of general guidelines
Your profile
Must Have:
- Completed studies in the fields of biology, chemistry, biochemistry or equivalent
- Focus on PCR
- Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of biochemical and biophysical analysis methods as well as protein chemistry
- In-depth experience with analytical methods for protein and virus analysis
- Knowledge of molecular biological methods
- Knowledge of gene therapy
- Good knowledge of German and English (fluent in spoken and written)
Nice to Have:
- knowledge of protein biochemistry and virology is desirable
- PhD and Master's degree possible, but not mandatory
