Experimental characterization of optical and electrical components (lasers, optics, optical fibers, etc.)
Development and validation of machine learning algorithms (e.g., Enrolled full-time student at a German university, preferably in the field of physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable subject with very good academic performance
Optics / laser and fiber optics
Machine learning (e.g., Experience with tools such as ZEMAX OpticStudio, Python, MATLAB, or TensorFlow/PyTorch is an advantage
