Construction Manager – Collins Foods Germany
About the Role
Are you ready to shape the future of KFC in Germany? As Construction Manager, you will lead the development of new restaurants and oversee remodels of existing locations. From budgeting and planning to execution and opening, you will own the entire process and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. And to arrange this, you keep high class relationships with the franchisor and with suppliers.
You’ll divide your time between our Restaurant Support Centers in Amsterdam or Düsseldorf and on-site visits across Germany. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working closely with internal teams and external partners to make growth happen.
Your Responsibilities
You will manage the full lifecycle of construction projects. For new builds, you’ll set up and coordinate implementation plans, prepare budgets, and lead project managers and suppliers to deliver outstanding results. For remodels, you’ll plan and execute renovations with minimal disruption to operations, ensuring every restaurant meets brand standards and is ready for the next phase of growth.
Communication is key: you’ll liaise with stakeholders across departments, maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and act as the link between operational needs and budget realities. Flexibility and creativity are essential, as you’ll continuously optimize processes and find solutions that support Collins Foods’ ambitious expansion plans.
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
* At least 5 years of experience in retail construction projects
* Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint. Knowledge of specialized Construction software is highly appreciated.
* A proactive, results-driven mindset and strong communication skills
