Senior Automation engineer / Ingenieur im Bereich Leittechnik / Discipline lead I&C
Hamburg, Germany or any other of our German locations (e.g. Berlin, Munich, Erlangen, Mannheim etc.)

Your new role
As our new Senior Automation engineer, you will be focal towards the clients, suppliers, and projects. As focal, you will be responsible for e.g., field instrumentation, automation systems, safety systems, network, fire & gas detection and interfaces towards mechanical & electrical packages and Supplier/Vendor management/engagement. You will eventually take over the role of “I&C discipline lead” in our projects.
Your key responsibilities could include:
1. Interface directly with local German clients
2. Act as project / discipline manager on projects in close collaboration with clients.
3. Act as discipline lead/project manager on multidiscipline projects along with project team
4. Liaison with clients and suppliers
5. Perform specification and design of automation systems e.g.:
6. Overall system topology and interfaces towards third part systems
7. SCADA, ESD/fail-safe systems or Fire and Gas
8. Field instrumentation
9. Provide input for procurement and handle technical clarifications before and during execution phase
10. Provide input for and participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning.
11. Inspection/visit of installations on Sites.
Your new team
You will be part of an exceptional technical environment with 21 passionate colleagues in Denmark and Norway, supported by our global engineering center. The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector for projects around the world. The area of responsibility for this position is mainly energy intensive projects such as PtX plants, offshore energy, power generation, and gas infrastructure.

12. A Bachelor’s- or Master’s degree Automation/Electrical Engineering, Electronic and computer, Information- and communication technology, Marine Engineering or similar
13. A few years of relevant experience
14. Excellent communication skills in English are a must
15. Business fluent in German is also required
16. Work in a structured and systematic way
17. Able to handle many stakeholders
18. We expect you have knowledge within some of the following areas: Field instrumentation, SCADA/Control/Leittechnik (e.g. TIA, PCS7 or similar), ESD/fail-safe, or Fire and Gas.
19. Experience in developing I&C concepts, design or operation of power plants, oil & gas or other process industries
