Job description / Your role:
4. Take full ownership for the mechanical and thermal design of LEOspace products
5. Supervise and coordinate all related engineering activities, including mechanical design, structural analysis, thermal design, and thermal analysis
6. Lead and support the mechanical and thermal testing and qualification of space hardware
7. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design descriptions, development schedules, and test definitions
8. Conduct preliminary assessments of mechanical and thermal robustness within an agile development framework
9. Support system-level testing and qualification processes
10. Contribute to our Simultaneous Engineering approach by collaborating with industrial process engineering teams to scale the production of mechanical and thermal systems
Ihr Profil
Qualification Checklist:
11. University degree (or equivalent) in engineering, aerospace, or a related technical field
12. Experience in the space industry, with a focus on mechanical and thermal system design
13. Demonstrated expertise in mechanical and/or thermal analysis, with knowledge of industry best practices
14. Familiarity with material and process selection for space applications
15. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
16. Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Bonus Qualifications:
17. Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
18. Practical experience with numerical engineering tools for mechanical and thermal analysis in space systems
19. Initial experience in leadership or project coordination roles
