Your role
As a data science trainee, you will:
1. develop statistical analyses and data science solutions to support strategic decision-making and policy development in the areas of HR or communications;
2. contribute to exploring, testing and developing new tools and technologies, including prototypes and analytical models;
3. support the development of a data and evidence-based approach by reviewing research literature and generating insights from reports and tools;
4. transform and visualise datasets for various projects and tasks, using advanced data processing and visualisation techniques;
5. provide regular analytical reports;
6. present results and insights to stakeholders, providing recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential:
7. a bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, human resources management, business administration, economics, social and organisational psychology, business information systems, business analytics, political science, engineering or another relevant field;
8. knowledge of a statistical programming language;
9. experience in data processing, data visualisation and quantitative data analysis;
10. a good knowledge of the MS Office package;
11. an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the .
Desired:
12. skills in R, Python and/or SQL;
13. experience with Tableau, Power BI, natural language processing and/or big data technologies;
14. experience in analytics for HR, communications or other business areas.
