International manufacturing and trading company, a leader in its category, is developing a modern distribution center in Germany serving the European market and is looking for a Distribution Center Manager responsible for the entire logistics process and achieving set business objectives.

Responsibilities:
* Design and develop efficient distribution center operations and logistics processes
* Build the organizational structure of the new center and recruit, develop, and manage the team
* Implement industry best practices in warehousing and distribution
* Plan and oversee daily operations to achieve business objectives
* Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency
* Supervise the entire logistics process: goods receipt, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping
* Monitor and analyze KPIs and initiate optimization actions
* Manage the distribution center budget with a focus on cost efficiency
* Collaborate with senior management and other departments
* Ensure proper training for employees and operational partners
* Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations and safety standards
* Respond promptly to operational challenges and minimize disruptions in the supply chain
Requirements:
* Minimum of ~3 years of managerial experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics
* Experience in creating and implementing warehouse processes
* Ability to manage large teams
* Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
* Focus on continuous improvement and innovation
* Hands-on approach and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
* Strong organizational and planning skills
* Excellent command of English and German
* Knowledge of WMS, ERP, or other logistics management systems
* SAP experience and exposure to seasonal business is an advantage
