Description
1. Perform quantitative validation of credit risk models with a focus on IFRS9 models and respective stresstesting models of Deutsche Bank including pre-implementation validations of new models/model changes
2. Extensive use of sophisticated data analysis and statistical methods (classification, regression) for validation of very complex credit risk models and underlying assumptions
3. Discussion of validation results with internal and external stakeholders such as model developers and owner, regulators and auditors
4. Continuous improvement and enhancement of validation approaches, especially taking into account regulatory requirements, as well as automation of validation analyses
5. Assurance of Model Risk Management requirements, e.g. SR11-07 validation standards
Professional and personal qualifications
6. Academic degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Mathematical Finance/Statistics) with a focus on application
7. Experience in preparation as well as descriptive and explorative analysis of large data using statistical and other software packages (Python, SAS, R), overall strong programming skills
8. Experience with analysis of default and loss data as well as practical knowledge in the modeling and/or validation of credit risk parameters (PD, LGD, CCF), IFRS9 accounting (ECL) or stresstesting models
9. Ability to author structured and concise validation reports
10. Pronounced conceptual and analytical skills as well as business fluent written and verbal skills in English, German language skills are beneficial
