Location: Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany Estimated Hours: 8–20 hours per week (Up to 1,040 hours annually) Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0800–1600 Key Responsibilities: Provide hardware and software support for computers, servers, peripherals, and classroom technology.
Administer Windows, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Linux systems.
Maintain enterprise Wi-Fi and network infrastructure (including Ubiquiti).
Implement new hardware/software systems and support system upgrades.
Ensure data backup, system security, and compliance with DoD/Air Force regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues; respond to emergencies within 2 hours.
Maintain IT documentation, system diagrams, and equipment tracking.
Safeguard government property and secure facilities/equipment.
Advise the Education Service Officer on IT improvements and purchases.
Minimum Qualifications Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in hardware and software support within a networked enterprise environment Experience with: Microsoft Windows and Windows Server administration Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization Linux deployment and administration Enterprise Wi-Fi network management DoD/Air Force computer security regulations Current CompTIA Security+ certification Ability to provide three professional references Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Powered by JazzHR
