Test Engineer - Selenium - German Emergency Services - 95k | Berlin
As a Test Engineer within our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of our web applications, cloud services, information systems, and databases tailored to internal security and German emergency services, with a specific focus on live criminal and investigation case files.
Your responsibilities:
* Design test plans and contribute to testing strategies aligned with project goals.
* Automate testing processes using Selenium, and write test cases using Java.
* Perform API and Web Service testing (/ REST ) using JSON and XML .
* Manage source code via Git.
* Automate builds with Gradle and Maven.
* Use Unix/Linux for troubleshooting and smooth application deployment.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for automated testing and deployment.
* Collaborate in agile teams.
* Innovate and ensure high standards of quality assurance in testing practices.
Your profile:
* Successful (technical) university degree in computer science or similar.
* Good knowledge of automation testing with Selenium
* Knowledge of Java, ideally more than just in a testing context.
* Good knowledge of automated build processes ideally with Maven and/or Gradle .
* Deep understanding of testing web services - REST ,
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins .
* Ideally experience with surrounding tools and technologies like:
Git, Unix/Linux, Cloud .
* Good knowledge of German and English
