About the position:
Reporting Line: you report directly to the Head of Sales
Location: Work from home, Germany (ideally within Ruhr area)
Travel: within Germany and regularly to the headquarters in Nazareth, Belgium
Type: Full-time position
Your key responsibilities:
* You attract and manage a group of important customers (Key Accounts) in order to achieve the designated sales targets through the implementation of appropriate strategies for these key accounts.
* You have a strong affinity for our decarbonisation-as-a-service offering, which helps companies reduce carbon emissions without significant upfront investments. You understand the challenges industries face in cutting emissions from their operations and energy use.
* You identify and contact new prospects and build relationships, in order to secure new projects;
* You develop trust relationships with a portfolio of customers (key accounts) to ensure a recurrent volume of business;
* You acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements;
* You expand relationships with customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
* You act as point of contact between the customers and the internal support departments during the commercial phase;
* You prepare and deliver offers in time and in line with the customer's requirements in close collaboration with the development team;
* You are able to identify and to understand the customer's decision criteria and to optimise your offers according to these criteria;
* You manage all the relations with the customers till the contract signature and the hand-over to the execution team; and you support the back-office team to invoice correctly the contract.
* You achieve the sales targets and KPI's and you report on a weekly basis to the Head of Sales;
* You support the Head of Sales in the market analysis and the definition of the right strategy.
Requirements:
* You hold minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales with a strong technical background or an Engineering degree with strong sales skills
* You are a native German speaker and you are fluent in English, both spoken and written
* You have minimum 10 years of experience working in sales or another commercial role, ideally in a technical environment
* You are able to operate autonomously and drive the business by continuously taking initiatives, you are a team player
* A solid knowledge of renewable and decarbonisation technologies in an industrial context is key
* You are used to dealing with external stakeholders and official instances
* Have experience in delivering client-focused solutions, by listing to the customer's needs translating them to concrete solutions
* Have problem - solving and negotiations skills, you are highly goal-oriented and assertive
* Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
