We are a growing provider of scientific instruments for the analysis of molecular interactions and are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Senior Software Engineer for our innovative SPR#64 instrument.
Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten
1. Analyze user needs to extract user stories and scenarios
2. Design, develop, test, release, and support software solutions
3. Write automated acceptance tests to ensure that all scenarios are fulfilled
4. Modify existing software to correct errors, improve performance, or adapt to new hardware
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the company, learning and applying new skills in diverse fields such as optics and microfluidics
6. Recommend and implement improvements to the development process
Qualifikationen
7. A degree in a natural science or similar field
8. Proficiency in modern software development with C#
9. Embedded programming in a bare-metal environment (Rust, C)
10. Basic understanding of FPGAs
11. Understanding of electronic components, architecture, and interfaces (. I2C, SPI, UART, USB)
12. Experience in Test-Driven Development, Refactoring, and Pair Programming
13. Basic experience working with OpenCV
14. Experience working in an agile development process
15. Experience in software development with Rust and emulation tools such as QEMU is a plus
16. Great written and verbal communication skills in English
