HSE Advisors (Polish Speaking) – Data Centre & Refinery Projects (Europe)

Client: Polish subcontractor delivering major construction & industrial projects
Overview
We are recruiting a team of Polish-speaking HSE Advisors to support a leading subcontractor delivering data centre builds and refinery/industrial projects across Europe.
This is an excellent opportunity to join high-profile, fast-paced projects, ensuring compliance and driving best-in-class safety culture on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) support on-site
* Ensure compliance with local legislation, EU directives, and client standards
* Carry out risk assessments, method statement reviews (RAMS), and audits
* Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and inductions (often in Polish & English)
* Support the implementation of safe systems of work across construction & process environments
* Monitor contractor activities and intervene where unsafe practices are observed
* Investigate incidents, near misses, and produce detailed reports
* Promote a strong positive safety culture across multinational teams
* Liaise with project management, clients, and subcontractors
Requirements
* Proven experience as an HSE Advisor / Officer / Supervisor
* Background in at least one of the following:
* Data centre construction
* Oil & gas / refinery / petrochemical projects
* Heavy industrial or pharmaceutical environments
* Recognised safety qualification:
* NEBOSH (or equivalent) preferred
* IOSH or similar accepted
* Strong knowledge of construction and industrial safety standards
* Ability to review RAMS and conduct audits independently
* Fluent Polish and English (essential)
* Willingness to travel / work rotations across Europe
Desirable
* Experience working on multi-national projects
* Knowledge of permit-to-work systems
* Previous experience with Tier 1 contractors or large subcontractors
* Additional certifications (e.g. fire safety, confined space, etc.
