We're looking for a Solution Architect with a strong GenAI focus to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise clients, shaping AI strategy, designing agent-based architectures and driving solutions from concept to production. You will collaborate with data scientists, solution architects and developers to deliver AI-driven solutions that align with client objectives.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients in AI consulting engagements Run discovery workshops and solutioning sessions to translate business problems into AI-driven architectures Design end-to-end solutions for GenAI applications, agentic systems, RAG pipelines and AI-augmented workflows Define integration patterns for LLM-based systems within enterprise landscapes such as ERP, CRM and data platforms Specify governance, observability and compliance frameworks for autonomous agents and AI systems Evaluate and recommend AI tooling and platforms including agent frameworks, orchestration tools, vector databases and SDLC automation Drive proof-of-concept development and guide clients on responsible AI practices including EU AI Act compliance Advise on AI strategy including build-vs-buy decisions, vendor evaluation and technology roadmapping Collaborate with cross-functional EPAM teams and mentor junior architects on AI-native design patterns 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting or senior engineering with direct client exposure Experience designing and delivering GenAI or ML-powered applications in production Strong understanding of LLM architectures, prompt engineering, RAG patterns and agent orchestration Cloud-native architecture experience on at least one major platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP Familiarity with AI governance including model evaluation, bias monitoring, audit trails and regulatory frameworks Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and business leadership Fluency in English and German Experience in energy, utilities or industrial sectors Hands-on work with SDLC automation, AI-assisted code generation or autonomous delivery pipelines Knowledge of graph databases, ontology design or knowledge graph architectures Exposure to enterprise compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR or EU AI Act Background in pre-sales, RFI/RFP responses or client-facing technical proposals
