HASH is growing rapidly and has just set up a new office in Berlin (Germany). As Head of Operations you will work directly alongside HASH's founder/CEO to establish this new base and work closely with the team in person.
Responsibilities
* Make the company run like clockwork: initially creating processes and executing them yourself; as the company grows, delegate those processes to others and build various operational functions such as PeopleOps, FinancialOps, and SalesOps.
* Lead the delivery of special projects: run key, strategic initiatives that are new to the company or one‑off, such as organizing a high‑profile event, coordinating a product launch, or expanding into a new market.
Requirements
* Fluency in both English and German required.
* Attention to detail: strength in following complex multi‑step instructions, incisively identifying key information, and spotting discrepancies.
* Responsiveness and proactivity: default to quick replies and comprehensive follow‑ups, supporting effective collaboration with busy senior stakeholders.
* Resiliency and grit: determination to work hard in the face of uncertainty and setbacks without giving up.
* Numeracy: ability to read and process financial statements.
* Literacy: natural talent to write well, effectively and persuasively.
* High raw IQ: capacity to problem‑solve and reason well across a wide range of domains and problem areas.
* High social IQ: sensibility to manage diverse stakeholders, implicitly detect tone and feeling, etc.
* High social energy: drive and motivation to pick up the phone whenever required to unblock things, even in the face of frustration.
