Job Description We are looking for an International Tax Manager to join our global tax team at ContiTech. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all tax-related matters for designated foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations, and driving tax optimization strategies. You will work closely with management, external tax consultants, and fiscal authorities to provide guidance and lead key tax projects across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities: Provide tax support for designated foreign countries, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations Monitor and analyze international tax law changes, assess their impact on the group, and communicate key updates to internal stakeholders Review and assist with the Tax Reporting of subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate registration Participate in tax projects such as liquidations, mergers, tax audits, and restructurings Review group structures to ensure alignment with corporate goals, and assist in necessary restructuring Maintain regular contact with colleagues in foreign subsidiaries, providing ongoing support for business operations and projects Support tax audits by German and foreign tax authorities, ensuring compliance and resolution of issues Act as the primary tax contact for foreign tax authorities and coordinate with international colleagues on tax matters Analyze tax consequences of reorganizations and provide guidance on potential impacts Collaborate with external tax advisors to address complex tax questions and issues Prepare and submit applications for tax certificates of residence for German group companies, liaising with the responsible German tax authority
