What is a Solution Engineer?
Also known as a "Presales Consultant," "Sales Consultant," or "Sales Engineer", our team is looking for curious candidates with a real passion for technology to join our Solution Engineering team. Your role as a Solution Engineer
The Solution Engineering team is organized into several industry and specialist teams based on industry they are selling into, in this case we are looking fora Solution Engineer in our Manufacturing team.
A typical day of a Solution Consultant consists of the following:
Lead discovery sessions with your customers to understand/identify pain points as a basis to build an innovative solution based on the Salesforce technology stack.
Clearly articulate the value of Salesforce to customers at all levels, examples include; Administration/IT Staff, managers and "C" level executives.
Create memorable positive experiences for your customers, using empathy, story telling, immersive demo techniques, etc.
Use your business knowledge to identify Manufacturing challenges and trends and develop tailored Salesforce value propositions
Represent Salesforce during Marketing or Partner Events (e.g. Have a strong interest in growing your career and participating in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives.
Track record of presales / solution engineering, consultancy, product management or software delivery preferable in a context of complex enterprises.
Related Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
Fluent German & English
This role is focused on the Manufacturing industry so prior experience in this vertical is preferable but not mandatory.
Experience with Salesforce or other leading business applications is preferred
