What you’ll build
As part of the Consumption & Excellence Office within the Global SAP BTP Global CRO Organization, this role is focused on driving post-sales success, domain maturity, and consumption and expansion growth for SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP across all regions with specific focus on North America and Europe.
This role supports the Future Ready Enterprise (FRE) Framework (SAP BTP Customer journey methodology) with its structured maturity model that helps customers progress from foundational adoption (L1) to advanced platform innovation (L5) across BTP domains.
The Domain Champion works cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Services and Product teams to guide strategic engagements, shape best practices, and accelerate domain maturity through FRE-sponsored and regional programs, while overall delivering and overachieving Integration Suite Consumption and Expansion targets. Further would play a key role in shaping the domain globally through insight and collaboration, while driving execution and relevance regionally.
Direct experience with SAP BTP is not a strict requirement but is highly recommended. We’re particularly interested in candidates with strong Platform as Service, Cloud Native and Modern architecture, Security and Integration/ Event Driven Architecture experience and other Platform backgrounds who can either bring or quickly build expertise in the SAP BTP ecosystem.
Purpose & Objectives:
1. Act as a global domain champion for SAP BTP, Cloud Native architecture and Event Driven Architecture, owning maturity and consumption KPIs in alignment with the FRE framework.
2. Guide and work with Regional and Market Units stakeholders in executing Region-specific strategies, engaging sponsored accounts, and identifying strategic consumption opportunities.
3. Identify and evangelize best practice on SAP BTP, Integration and Build across various Market Units in Region
4. Provide thought leadership in how enterprise Application development including Agentic development and Integration landscape should evolve with SAP BTP
Key Outcomes:
5. Increase domain maturity and platform adoption through structured FRE-based engagements with customers
6. Guide and support regions in creating and executing SAP BTP consumption plans to drive and overachieve Consumption and Expansion targets
7. Drive high quality demand generation for SAP BTP Consumption targets in Regions and Market Units
8. Shape and maintain a validated pipeline of domain-aligned consumption opportunities and recovery plans.
9. Deliver architectural guidance, either directly or by connecting customer teams with the right expert networks.
10. Amplify global FRE strategy, tooling, and domain playbooks, ensuring consistency and reuse across Regions and Market Units
11. Contribute to accurate Consumption and Expansion forecasting and impact analysis through reporting and collaboration with regional leaders.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
12. Domain Expertise & Field Support: Engage in strategic customer discussions and 1:1 engagements; provide domain expertise for regional events and campaigns.
13. Recovery Planning & Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with CSMs on recovery plans for accounts off-track in consumption or value realization.
14. Consumption Demand Generation - Collaborate with CSMs and stakeholders to generate Consumption demands across Market Units and Regions
15. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the regional point of contact for SAP BTP topics, collaborating with Sales, GTM, CSM, and Product teams.
16. Consumption Opportunity Lifecycle: Oversee the lifecycle from intake to validation, Consumed ACV forecasting, and post-engagement impact
17. Campaign Oversight: Own and support domain-aligned campaigns and programs with regional and global marketing.
18. Reporting & Feedback: Drive the Voice of Customer (VoC) for the domain, share field insights with product teams, and shape the FRE domain tooling.
What you bring
19. Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
20. 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, cloud platforms, or AI-enabled development
21. A track record of shaping the domain agenda through visionary thinking, with a proven ability to influence through insights, frameworks, and active engagement with leadership.
22. Domain architecture leadership, or post-sales strategy roles
23. Platform solutioning and value realization programs
24. Cross-regional enablement, campaign oversight, and strategic customer engagement
25. Experience working across customer success, consulting, product, and sales organizations.
26. Excellent English skills required
Technical Expertise:
27. Hands-on experience in: Application Development and/or Integration Development, including modern Cloud Native architectures Competiitive platform technologies including Vibe Coding and/or Integration technologies knowledge is highly preferred
28. Exposure to Agentic AI development and orchestration frameworks
29. Strong communication and architecture influencing skills in customer-facing settings
Nice to Have:
30. Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite including Advanced Event Mesh and any competitive iPaaS solution.
31. Understanding of SAP’s BTP strategy and FRE maturity models (L1–L5)
32. Development experience with other enterprise PaaS platforms is an added advantage.
33. Spanish or French language skills preferred
