The Business Development Manager Gene Theapy is responsible for driving commercial growth and technical adoption of Cytiva solutions across advanced therapy workflows, supporting customers developing and manufacturing viral vectors, nucleic acidu2011based therapies, and nextu2011generation biologics. This position reports to the EMEA Worklfow Development Leader, will cover Germany and is a remote role. What you will do Own advanced therapy workflows including Viral Vectors, Vaccines based on Viral Vectors, pDNA, exosomes, Synthetic DNA, mRNA, and Oligonucleotides, with a deep understanding of biological activity, development, and manufacturing processes. Drive order growth within the assigned territory by expanding Cytiva technologies with existing customers and introducing Cytiva solutions into gene therapy programs through Designu2011In initiatives. Partner with Field Application Specialists (FAS) to test, demonstrate, and deliver technical training on Cytiva technologies at customer sites, clearly differentiating Cytivau2019s value proposition. Support marketing and lead generation activities by collaborating with Field Event Marketing, identifying and supporting key regional events, congresses, and customer engagements to generate and convert MQLs. Manage CRM and funnel execution by maintaining MQLs, Designu2011In projects, and Opportunities in SFDC in alignment with the MQL, Designu2011In, and Funnel Management Playbooks. Collaborate crossu2011functionally with local commercial teams and Product Management to support deal strategy, capture Voice of Customer (VoC) insights, and inform product development and launches. Influence portfolio growth across Cytiva modalities including HyClone, Elevecta cell lines, WAVE, XDR, Pall Filtration, resins, mixers, u00c4KTA chromatography and TFF hardware, Oligo product categories, Vanrx, and Biacore through solutionu2011selling approaches. Who you are Bacheloru2019s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. Strong Experience in bioprocessing, cell and gene therapy, vaccines, or advanced therapy commercialization, application support, or technical sales. Demonstrated experience working with advanced therapy modalities such as viral vectors, nucleic acids, or cellu2011based manufacturing processes. Proficiency using CRM systems (e.g., SFDC) for opportunity, funnel, and project tracking. Experience supporting Designu2011In programs, technical evaluations, or customer adoption of complex bioprocessing technologies. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements Ability to travel up to 40 .-50%, including overnight travel, within the assigned territory. Must have a valid driveru2019s license with an acceptable driving record. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in Experience with multiu2011modality solution selling across upstream, downstream, and nucleic acid manufacturing workflows.
