Your Tasks
* Definition of the Network architecture, including Space nodes, Ground nodes and User Terminals
* Definition of link budgets and communication protocols with assessment of implication over the Digital Payload architecture
* Perform traffic model simulations
* Perform sub-systems and systems architecture trade-offs and performance analysis
* Interact directly with suppliers (space, ground and user), reviewing unit level performance and interfaces for suitability and assess impacts to performance (travel to supplier facilities are foreseen)
* Definition of IRD towards Space, Ground and User segments
* Support the Payload System Engineers for the definition of on-board-processing requirements
* Perform assessment of ground facilities
* Participate to studies and proposals
Your Qualifications
* Degree in telecommunications, electronics, electrical, informatics or comparable discipline
* Advanced knowledge of Network Management for terrestrial application
* Experience in modelling traffic routing of complex systems
* Excellent organization, prioritization, and communications skills
* English working level proficiency
* Knowledge of the 5G protocol with familiarity on the 3GPP workgroup
* Knowledge of Space Communication protocol standards (DBS, CCSDS..), Security and Cybersecuritywould be an asset
