About the department
Portfolio Planning is a department within CPX (Customer Project Execution) under the Northern and Central Europe (NCE) business unit at Vestas. The department provides the planning foundation for executing wind farm projects within the project budget and in line with project milestones. This is done through careful scheduling of projects based on available capacities and taking project‑specific requirements into account.
In addition, Portfolio Planning is responsible for consolidating the capacity demand across the project portfolio. This includes planning external resources, scheduling installation cranes, considering supply chain constraints, and preparing reports for key stakeholders. Managing a high level of dynamics within the project portfolio, project requirements, and the supply chain is part of our daily work.
